This Privacy Policy outlines the commitment of ScoreNow (operated by John Schapmann) to protecting the privacy of users of its mobile applications and related services, in compliance with applicable data protection laws, including the French Data Protection Act of January 6, 1978, and the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR).

It applies to all mobile applications, games, content, and services developed and published under the ScoreNow brand — including but not limited to Pickleball Score, Tennis Score, Mölkky Score, Angry Darts, Squash Score, and future releases (collectively referred to as the "Services").

By accessing or using the Services, you expressly accept this Privacy Policy and consent to the collection, use, storage, and disclosure of your data as described below.

Article 1 – Data Collected

While using the Services, ScoreNow may collect the following categories of data:

  • Technical information: device model, operating system, language, app version, advertising identifier, IP address, usage data (clicks, session duration, in-app events).
  • Personal information voluntarily provided: email address, nickname, profile photo, user-generated content (comments, match data, photos, etc.).
  • Payment-related information: for in-app purchases made via official platforms (App Store, Google Play). ScoreNow does not directly collect or store any banking information.

Article 2 – Purposes of Processing

The collected data is used to:

  • Ensure the proper technical operation of the Services.
  • Improve usability, features, and overall performance.
  • Analyze anonymized usage data to enhance user experience and optimize design.
  • Provide customer support and respond to user inquiries.
  • Deliver relevant notifications, offers, or in-app messages.
  • Manage in-app purchases, subscriptions, and account preferences.

Article 3 – Data Recipients

Data may be shared only in the following situations:

  • With technical providers (hosting, analytics, crash reporting, monetization, etc.) acting under contractual confidentiality obligations.
  • With official store platforms (App Store, Google Play) for payment processing.

However, no system is completely secure. Users remain responsible for protecting their device, credentials, and account information.

Some app features rely on third-party technologies or SDKs (e.g. Firebase, RevenueCat, Google Analytics, advertising networks).

The Services may also contain links to third-party websites or content.

ScoreNow is not responsible for the privacy practices of these third parties. Users are encouraged to review their respective privacy policies.

Article 6 – Transfer or Business Changes

In case of a merger, acquisition, restructuring, or cessation of activity, ScoreNow may transfer collected data to the involved entity, in compliance with applicable regulations and with prior notice where legally required.

Article 7 – Underage Users

The Services are not intended for children under 17 years old.

No personal data is knowingly collected from minors.

If a parent or guardian believes that a child has provided personal data, they may request deletion by contacting the address below.
